Born into a not-so-well-off family, I am always conscious of my efforts to study, hoping to help my family to have a better life. Since I was a student at Thoai Ngoc Hau High School, I have received a lot of help from the Alumni Association of Thoai Ngoc Hau High School, the teachers in the association have provided scholarships to reduce the burden for families to take care of their children studying. Thanks to that help and my own efforts, I passed the entrance examination of the Law Faculty of Can Tho University.
Concerns about the financial burden of entering university lectures were removed when I received a scholarship from the Non-profit Organization “Association for Supporting Vietnam Education”. I always appreciate and see this as a source of motivation to learn and grow. Besides, the teachers in the Association are also always interested in monitoring the learning process; organize meetings to share and encourage us to overcome difficulties. Those are beautiful memories, a love that we will always remember.
Last May, I completed my university program and got a good bachelor’s degree, the graduation ceremony is expected to be held in September. Currently, I am working at Lawsoft Company in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. In the immediate future, I plan to go to work to supplement my practice and experience, and in the future, I will study in graduate school.
I write this letter first to inform my graduation to the teachers, the executive board of the Nonprofit Organization “Association for Supporting Vietnam Education”, and then I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers and members of NPO…
In addition to the above, many recent reports and thank-you letters have been sent from scholarship students to the NPO secretariat.
At the NPO general meeting, we ask ASVE members and people who are active in various fields to give a commemorative lecture.
In June 2016, we visited the Japanese Association under the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and asked the Japanese companies in Vietnam to cooperate with ASVE’s activities.
